We hope all our customers and their families are well and stay safe through this period. Our mission remains to protect and serve our customers, keep our staff and partners safe and ensure the ongoing viability of our community organisation.

After the Government Lockdown-2 announcement last weekend the FA have followed this week with confirmation that children’s football would not be exempt from suspension.

Therefore as from Thursday 4th November all Sporting Trust session activities will rest until the planned end of Lockdown-2 date; this allows our sessions to restart on Wednesday 2nd December.

Subscription payments 4th November to 3rd December
Note that the non-lockdown date of 3rd December is being included in our Lockdown-2 payment policy outlined below. This then covers an exact whole month and enables us to include all our customers in our arrangements.

Option 1 – Do nothing
If you make your payment and do nothing for 28 days beyond that date, then as per our terms and conditions we will regard the payment as a donation. In these unprecedented times your support is gratefully received. The Trust is a not-for-profit community organisation with no built-up reserve. It has no local or national authority income and is totally dependent on its ‘at cost’ fees. There will be continued administrative outgoings, and we will also attempt to financially support our staff where they do not qualify for any authority grant, e.g. our younger self employed and student coaches. Note that any surplus from donated monies will be used to fund projects for the benefit our members.

Option 2 – Take an offer in lieu
If you make your payment during this period we will offer you an activity or sessions in lieu. Please email us to let us know you’d like to take up this offer and we’ll send you an immediate acknowledgement, and further instructions nearer the time: Info@SportingTrust.org.

Option 3 – Request a refund
If you simply just don’t want to pay during lockdown, which is perfectly reasonable, then you can request that your payment is refunded. To do this send your request in an email to: Info@SportingTrust.org. Your account and membership will continue unaffected and so you won’t need to sign on again. If your payment has already been made, a refund will still be given. You have up to 28 days to make the request otherwise we will regard the payment as a donation as per our terms and conditions.

Option 4 – Cancel your subscription
If lockdown impacts your financial situation in the long term, or you fear that it will, then you can cancel your subscription. To do this log into your Sporting Trust account on our website and click on the ‘Subscriptions’ option. You will then be able to activate a cancellation notice. This will close your account completely, remove you from our register, and so you will no longer receive email notices. When you can resume sessions you will need to check that a place is available and then sign on again (in this circumstance you will be offered the choice of a refund to the value of the ‘free’ shirt). If your payment has already been made since on or since 4th November, a refund will be given: you must email us to let us know this has happened.

Outstanding kit orders
We are now in possession of most kit orders. We are figuring out how best to distribute this being’s postage costs were not included in the order price. If you have an order, we will contact you in due course.
